My current project car is a 1980 Malibu ex Drag Car. I bought the car 2 years ago with the plan to make it streetable again. The car was advertised in a local paper as “80 Malibu drag car with a price of $2,500 O.B.O.” I talked the seller down to $2,000 and he called a tow truck for me. It came with a built 454 Big block, 400 Turbo trans, B&M shifter,12-bolt posi, fuel cell, Autometer gauges and centerlines. I figured it had 2 grand worth of parts, the solid body was just gravy.

After owning a low milage , and very rare 69 Chevelle for almost 30 years. I was looking for a fun car that I didn't have to worry about every minute it was out of the garage, and I've always liked this body style because it reminds me of the 64-67 Chevelle.
